Early Voting Has Begun

|
Early voting begins today and continues through May 3rd. Early voting (also called one-stop absentee) can be done at each county Board of Elections and at other select locations -- contact your county Board of Elections for locations in your area.

Even if you missed the April 11 deadline to register to vote in the May 6 primary, you can still register and vote through the one-stop early voting process, but only at designated early voting locations through May 3rd.  Traditional absentee voting began March 17 and can be done through April 29th. Contact the NC State Board of Elections at (919) 733-7173 or online at http://www.sboe.state.nc.us/ for information.

Everyone plays a part

I tell every group I meet with that it doesn't matter how smart or rich or good looking you are -- no one can do this on their own.  Running for governor is absolutely a team effort and every person is important to the process.   I believe we can win this election, but I also know that it won't happen without an army of people who are dedicated to working for change in Raleigh.  I am incredibly thankful for all of you who have already contributed your time, money, enthusiasm and, in some cases, sweat to the Fred Smith for Governor campaign.  If you have not gotten involved in the campaign because you don't think you can make a difference, you CAN.  In this effort, every person counts and everyone has the potential of being that one person who made that one extra phone call, or reminded that one neighbor to vote, or drove that one person to the polls who casted the deciding vote.  If you want to see change in the leadership in Raleigh YOU can make a difference.  Click HERE to help make that change happen.
