Rally tonight in Catawba County area
This is the last week of Lee Greenwood Rallies for Fred Smith Governor 2008. Tonight a rally will be held in Catawba County. Tuesday night is Guilford County and Wednesday is Forsyth. If you have not yet attended one of these rallies, try to make it to one of these. (See John Hawkins' blog post about the Wilmington Rally for an idea about what to expect.)

Catawba County was a great day. Fred did the Hal Rowe show and then had lunch with several Mayors, the Sheriff and a County Commissioner. Fred then went to work the polls. There was a gentleman supporting Hillary Clinton, that was amazed that a candidate for governor would be working the polls (this was typical Fred Smith). The reception & rally at the Gateway Center was outstanding. The folks that attended were energized and took every yard sign after the event. The May 6 primary is close at hand and I believe that the republicans in North Carolina will reward Fred Smith for his hard work, dedication and commitment. The grassroots campaign of Fred Smith shows which candidate really cares about North Carolina. You can't listen to folks by campaigning just on television.
