Here are the results of a Macon County GOP straw poll held this weekend, as posted on the Thunderpig blog:

  2. Bob Orr -- 5

If one looks at all of the straw polls, they will see that Fred is consistent in his percentage of victory. The other three candidates are all over the place. This reflects Fred's strong "grassroots" support across North Carolina. It is apparent that dedication, commitment and perseverance is paying off for Fred Smith. The final analysis will be on May 6th.
