Today Fred spoke at the Workforce Development Center in Clayton at a forum on "Biodiesel Basics and Feedstock."  The program was for consumers and producers of biofuels and was attended by 71 students, biofuel activists, educators and start up producers.  Fred spoke about the need for leadership in the area of biofuels in order to reduce dependence on foreign oil.  He also spoke about the economic and environmental reasons to invest in biofuel technology and the roles that community colleges, universities, government and the private sector would need to play.
