Huge Turnout in Johnston County Tonight

The turnout for the Johnston County BBQ tonight was huge with over 400 in attendance!  Fred got an enthusiastic round of applause in response to the news that he filed as a candidate for governor today, and then shared his message for the future of North Carolina with the citizens of his home county.  Many old friends and family members were there to cheer him on tonight including Representatives Leo Daughtry and James H. Langdon, Register of Deeds Craig Olive, Johnston County Sheriff Steve Bizzell, and several Johnston County Commissioners including Cookie Pope and Wade Stewart.   The enthusiasm for the campaign continues to build. The next stop on the statewide Extra Effort BBQ Tour is February 15 in Alexander and Alleghany counties.
