Senator Fred Smith's Team continues to travel across North Carolina, from Cherokee County in the west, to Washington County in the east. The thousands of citizens that he has met with with, truly appreciate someone that not only says they are important, but shows them that they are important. The crowds get bigger and more enthusiastic. In Polk County they said that it was the biggest crowd since Senator Jesse Helms came to Polk County. The GOP hasn't had a candidate like Jesse Helms, until Fred Smith came along!
